Update your photo & media consent
You can update the photo & media consent at anytime using OSM. Decisions can only affect photos and media going forward from when you let us know.

We know you love to hear about all your young person's adventures - and if you couldn't make it to volunteer with us - photos are a great way to see them in action! To keep everyone safe we must have a decision about photo consent for all of our young people.
Good to know

All unpublished photographs are stored securely and are only published if we have permission

Only volunteers with a DBS and a good reason can access unpublished photos taken by us

We don’t exclude young people from any activities, so they may be in photos – their faces will be obscured if they do not have consent. Let us know if this is still a problem

For public events, parades or church services, we cannot control any images or recordings made by the public or these institutions

Images, quotes, and other media are retained for as long as deemed appropriate

Ownership of all images remains in our possession unless we choose to relinquish it

You can withdraw consent at anytime moving forward, meaning it applies to photos and media after you make the decision. Just let us know.

I give consent for photos/videos of my child to be taken, stored and shared internally in the meeting location.

All Photography except Press
I give consent for photos/videos of my child to be taken, stored and shared internally in the meeting location, with Jesmond Parish Church, Scout websites and social media. I understand that if I later withdraw consent, previously published photos will not be able to be removed.
Regardless of this consent, the group is not responsible for photos/videos taken by other parties, including any taken during optional attendance at Jesmond Parish Church services.
