Why we fundraise
We believe every young person deserves a chance to join in, try something new, and discover what they’re capable of. That’s why we work hard to keep costs low — and why fundraising is such a vital part of what we do.

Young people, big impact
In 2023, our Scouts and Guides didn’t just talk about helping—they made it happen. Together, 4th Newcastle Scouts and 37th Newcastle Guides raised over £1,300 to install a defibrillator outside Jesmond Parish Church. From bake sales to sponsored events, it was grassroots fundraising at its best, proving what’s possible when young people and their supporters rally for a cause.
