The important bits
What's going on?
We’ve set up exciting Scouting activities tailored for different ages. It's all about trying new things, making friends, and seeing what you're capable of. Here is a taste of what to expect:
Fire Lighting
Under expert guidance, young people learn how to get a fire going under their own steam. It’s a classic practical skill that builds focus and confidence. Plus, there’s usually a toasted marshmallow at the end!
Arts & Crafts
We’re the dream builders! This station lets imaginations run wild while young people learn to think for themselves. It’s all about the joy of creating something unique and belonging.
Cave Simulator
Adventure starts with a few boxes! Our cardboard cave helps young people give it a go and explore. It’s a surprising way to build initiative and independence in a safe, fun environment.
Pioneering & Towers
From giant wooden structures to paper towers, this is all about mucking in and playing your part. We help future makers think on their feet to build something amazing together.
Blindfold Maze
This station is all about playing your part and trusting your team. It helps young people think on their feet while navigating tricky twists and turns.
Soft Archery
Take aim with our soft archery! It's all about focus and a steady hand. Don't worry if you miss the target on your first shot—just grab another arrow, get back up, and try again.
Parents, this is for you too.
While the young people are getting stuck in, our leaders will be around to chat. We're always looking for future makers and inspirers to join our volunteer team. Come and see how helping out is actually really good for you, too.
